WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Techex is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual who is passionate about the broadcast and media industry, our leading-edge technology, and creating long term, deep relationships with clients to support the scale-up of the business. This strategic role will require an entrepreneurial mindset and sustained high value activity required to deliver the growth plans for the U.S market.
The Techex sales and account team is instrumental in creating open and strong client partnerships that lead to long term client growth and shared success. As a Techex Account Executive, you will be expected to strategically source and sell into new accounts across the Techex product line as well as expand current business in the U.S. Market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record exceeding targets alongside demonstrating the ability to build and execute a sales strategy, network, and open new relationships, and consistently land and expand new partner customers in the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement the sales strategy according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate strategic growth in the US market
- For existing clients, establish and build strong strategic and working relationships with business leaders at all levels and expand Techex reach and relationships across the entire target portfolio
- Own, manage and monitor your target forecast as set out in the annual plan, achieving growth, and meeting annual, quarterly or monthly sales targets
- Cover all strategic areas of an account to proactively identify new opportunities, efficiently move the opportunity through sales staging, and align and work with internal stakeholders to win the business.
- Passionately present and demonstrate technology and solutions to customers at all levels with an emphasis on simplicity and transparency.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Build continuous engagement through video calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong transparent working relationships with all Techex cross functional teams
- Expedite the resolution of customer questions, challenges and inquiries
- Be a market and account expert, staying current on broadcast technology trends as well as strategic activity with your portfolio of accounts and targets.
- Track changing trends, economic indicators, and competitor products
- Participate in trade shows and industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience of primary account management in broadcast technology, IP, or cloud
- Experience selling and supporting broadcast and media customers
- Knowledge of compressed audio/video and media transport and audio-visual standards
- Understanding of real time transport protocols such as RTP, UDP and MPEG-TS
- AWS certified practitioner or higher
- Preferred location: Remote based in New York (East Coast) or Los Angeles
