WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This role sees you working as part of our small highly agile development team. We work closely with the latest technologies and most progressive broadcasters. We are currently pushing the perceived boundaries of Node.js and Rust using it to process Gbps of real time streaming data.
We are looking for developers with a difference. Someone who is extremely self-motivated, takes pride in managing their own personal deadlines and thrives on solving challenges across the full product lifecycle. The candidate should also enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, technically focused and agile environment.
Requirements
• Rust or Node skills
• Flexibility to adapt to new techniques and languages at short notice
• Creativity and problem-solving ability
• Experience of source control and collaboration through GIT
• Basic knowledge of working with Linux
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Ideally you will have some or all of the following:
• Experience with Linux (CentOS / Ubuntu)
• Cloud Experience
• Knowledge of websockets
• Knowledge of networking, UDP, RTP, Multicast, Unicast
• Knowledge of realtime media transport e.g. Transport Streams
• Skills with MongoDB
• Frontend skills (HTML, CSS, UX)
• Experience with other languages like C++, PHP and Bash/shell scripting
• Strong communication skills
